ABRA O’LEARY, B.Sc.
Volunteer Ambassador Program Coordinator
Abra received a B.Sc. in Public Health from the University of Colorado where she also worked as a program coordinator and co-taught ethics and leadership with the Colorado University Denver Business School. Abra is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University. She is also a certified foreign language teacher and has worked as a K-12th grade substitute teacher for core classes, computer science, physical education and as a paraprofessional/social worker in inner city schools.
Additionally, Abra has served as a Vice President of Education on the Board of Directors at St. Anthony Hospital and Medical Campus, Denver CO, and is currently serving as an Executive Committee Member for IEEE’s Sothern Alberta Chapter, the joint Power & Energy and Industrial Application Societies.
Abra is a resident of Canmore and is an avid cyclist, hiker and skier.
