To David Keith, Founder & Board Member, and the team at Carbon Engineering Ltd on the announcement of their agreement to be acquired by Occidental Petroleum for US$1.1 billion.

The transaction will significantly accelerate the company's ability to continue developing its direct air carbon emissions technology and world-wide commercialization.

A long-time resident of Canmore, David is presently a professor in the Department of Geophysical Science at the University of Chicago, having previously served as the Gordon McKay Professor of Applied Physics at Harvard University's Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and professor of public policy for the Kennedy School at the University.

We are pleased to announce the establishment of our angel funding platform in support of the Technology Venture Studio business accelerator programs focused on the design, development, de-risking and rapid commercialization of novel, scalable technology products in our sectors of interest.

Composed of a cohort of accredited Canadian and US investors, the platform will provide a source of Pre-Seed and Seed financing in the range of $250,00 to $3+ million to our in-house early stage technology startups.
