What is important is that you have faith in people,
and if you give them the tools, they will do wonderful things with them"

Save the date! You are invited to the "Mountain Maker Madness" Fair

Friday, June 7th at Lawrence Grassi Middle School; 9:00 am to Noon.

Our first annual celebration and showcase of Canadian Rockies Public School Student Builders, Creators, and Makers.

Parents, Students, and all members of the Bow Valley community are welcome to attend

Play in the augmented reality sand table, learn about 3D printing, try being a hibernating bear, experience virtual reality, and see student-created examples of woodworking, baking, machine learning, knitting, writing, sculpting, painting, film-making, photography, and some really epic Lego creations. Mountain Maker Madness is a part exhibit, part demonstration, and part hands-on Fun. Challenge yourself at painting 3D prints, drive a Sphero robot, add to the group structure in the Lego pit, or possibly even smash a sugar-glass bottle over your head like a real stuntperson.

But most importantly - Mountain Maker Madness is a chance to talk to the Student Creators that are proud and passionate about their projects, see what interesting things are going on in our public schools and hopefully leave excited to do a little creating of your own.

Visit our  Instagram @MountainMakerMadness for updates and teasers of some projects.
