Amii Artificial Intelligence (AI) Seminar Series is a weekly meeting where researchers (students, developers and professors) interested in AI can share their current research. Presenters include local speakers from the University of Alberta as well as local industries and other institutions.

AI in Health: Trends and Possibilities

A seminar on the current uses and possibilities of Artificial Intelligence in the Health Sciences through a basic and applied sciences lens.

We are excited to introduce a seminar on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Health Sciences. Large datasets are more readily generated due to the decreasing cost of omics in both basic and applied sciences. AI offers new avenues and approaches to more effectively analyse and use this data to improve patient outcomes and find patterns that are not immediately clear. We hope that hearing how others integrate Artificial Intelligence in their work inspires you to ask new questions and start new collaborations!
