• On behalf of Innovate Canmore, our President & CEO, Brian McClure attended the Inventures 2023 Tech startup & Innovation Conference in Calgary. Our participation was sponsored by the Chiu School of Business Bow Valley College.

• Representing ISL Adapt, our Co-Founder, Douglas Hallett, attended the Upper Bound 2023 AI Conference hosted by the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute in Edmonton.

The Cybera Applied Data Sciences Lab is now taking applications for the Alberta Innovates sponsored Fall Cohort beginning October 2nd and running for up to six months. The program provides Alberta companies with the tools and data science talent to better leverage their data and to develop a long term data science/machine learning project. Cybera and its partners provide hands-on advice and expertise to support the projects success.

Early 'consideration: registration deadline is July 14th, with the deadline for general applications on August 15th.

Recent local Bow Valley program participants are Synauta Inc and Synergyne ART Imaging Technologies.

The Affordable Services Program connects qualified applicants with discounts and offers to programs, services, transportation, and recreation so that they can participate more fully in their community and have an increased sense of wellbeing.
