Bob Gregorish, M.Sc., CISSP.
Bob holds an M.Sc. in Computing Science from the University of Alberta and is an independent IT and cybersecurity consultant, founder of Gregorish Consulting Inc., and a senior partner at the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence by Innovate Canmore.
He specializes in ISO/IEC 27001:2022 auditing and certification-readiness, supporting organizations in translating requirements into usable processes to strengthen their information security management systems (ISMS) and align with international standards. His practice spans gap assessments, internal audits, remediation planning, and pre-certification preparation.
A certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Bob holds the IRCA/CQI ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Associate Auditor certification and is a member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI). He has completed ISO/IEC Lead Auditor training, in addition to Lead Auditor training for ISO/IEC 20000-1 (IT service management) and ISO/IEC 42001 (AI management systems), and has provided technical expert support to third-party audit teams for AI management systems audits.
With more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, software development, and IT leadership, Bob’s professional experience includes cloud environments, identity and access management, security architecture, privacy, and governance, working with companies of every size, including Silicon Valley start-ups and large-scale enterprise data centers. He is knowledgeable across telecommunications, financial services, databases, evidence-ready management systems, infrastructure, identity and access management, networking, privacy, data encryption, and security governance in AI and machine learning environments.
